School-Based Interventionist

Working in Schools

School-Based Interventionists are employed by Stellher Human Services, Inc. and work in schools in these communities:

  • Bagley
  • Park Rapids
  • Waubun

These workers are either licensed, social workers, or licensed teachers. They work with students at the direction of school administrators to prevent the need for special education.

School Based Mental Health Services

We offer a variety of mental health services to our communities, including services for infants, children, teens, adults and families.

We provide services in the following schools:

  • Clearbrook/Gonvick
  • Detroit Lakes
  • Frazee
  • Freshwater Education District
  • Kelliher
  • Lake Park/Audubon
  • Laporte
  • Nevis
  • Northome
  • Park Rapids
  • Waubun/Ogema

School-based CTSS services offer mental health skills and/or therapy provided in the school setting. Please contact your local school administrator or guidance counselor to inquire about the services offered at your school.

Children who qualify for school-based services are identified by social workers, teachers, or parents. Services are designed to improve a child's emotional and behavioral functioning.
